Learning Lessons spilling paint!

Well yesterday was quite the learning experience.  Talk about making a huge mess!!  The Graco Gun I purchased was a wild experience.  I put the piece together, all was working fine until I almost finished the first chair, then all of a sudden a sputtering started to spit out!  This really made me upset, here I am with this new gun and its already giving me a run for my money.  So I proceed to my manual and try to trouble shoot the problem, I go inside tell my husband that there is a problem with the gun (mind you hes napping).  He looks up at me squinting his eyes, and says "did you try to trouble shoot the problem?" I nodded my head and went outside to try it again.  At this point I thought, you know what, I am going to just have to clean it and start over again, no big deal.  So I clean the machine very carefully and read the manual and try round two, press the lever and its just oozing out!  So then I scratch my head some more and run in the house and tell him, "I need your help."  He comes out and starts playing with it as I am telling him how it works and POP!  All the paint just explodes everywhere!  Lol!  So we proceed to clean up and start over from scratch again.  We get the gun to work a little, but then it starts to spit out random spurts as it sprays!  This machine is no fun!  This thing should have worked out perfect the first time.  So I traded it in for a better gun!  Lesson from this, just because something is priced high and is rated the best, doesn't mean that it is the best machine for you project.  This was a $300 gun that was in the paint section, one of the best!  The gun I traded it in for was in the tool section, $50 and recommended by another artist, we will see how it works.  Bare with me people, I will finish these chairs, I hope it only gets better :)
